• Under development by Tina M. Barber - Breed Founder - since 1974

Tina Barber has been breeding German Shepherd Dogs since 1962. She was active in Conformation shows as well as Schutzhund, Search and Rescue, etc. In 1974 she chose to set her standard back to the old style VERY LARGE type Shepherds. She changed her Kennel name to "Shiloh Shepherds™" and spent the next 16 years diligently pursuing her goals.



• Registered with the International Shiloh Shepherd Registry since 1991

The International Shiloh Shepherd™ Registry, Inc. (ISSR) is the only registry authorized to recognize a dog as a Shiloh Shepherd™.The ISSR was formed to protect the public from purchasing a dog falsely represented to be a Shiloh Shepherd™ and to protect the genetic future of the breed. Thus, only dogs having a valid certificate of registration issued by the ISSR may be considered a Shiloh Shepherd™



• Preserved, Protected and Promoted by the Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club of America since 1991

The Shiloh Shepherd™ Dog Club of America, Inc. (SSDCA) was formed to preserve and protect the future welfare of the breed. A democratically run club with members participating in electing "Board" representatives.
